My Hakeem App Surpasses 900,000 Active Users, EHS CEO Says

Amman: Chief Executive Officer of the Electronic Health Solutions (EHS) Omar Ayesh said the number of active users of the "My Hakeem" application has exceeded 900,000, while more than 145,000 citizens have benefited from the monthly home delivery of medications.

According to Jordan News Agency, Ayesh emphasized that the My Hakeem app provides a comprehensive suite of electronic services designed to improve healthcare accessibility for citizens. These services encompass medication home delivery, access to laboratory test results from the past six months, retrieval of radiology reports, booking of follow-up appointments at health facilities, and the ability to request health certificates and print official vaccination certificates, all without necessitating physical visits to health facilities.

Ayesh highlighted that the app also facilitates the issuance of electronic receipts and payment vouchers, which removes the need for paper copies, aligning with the goal of fully automating financial services.

Ayesh confirmed the introduction of a new series of electronic services, including a follow-up appointment request service available in 72 health facilities, and the extended electronic issuance of health certificates.

He added that the company has developed a financial accounting system now operational in over 91 Ministry of Health facilities, including four hospitals, to manage billing processes accurately and efficiently through a unified digital platform.

Ayesh remarked that the My Hakeem program has driven a significant transformation in the digital evolution of Jordan's health sector over the past 16 years. The program is currently implemented in more than 424 health facilities associated with the Ministry of Health and the Royal Medical Services, including 51 hospitals, 118 comprehensive health centers, 244 primary health centers, and 11 specialized centers throughout the Kingdom.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with EHS, introduced a self-registration service on the My Hakeem app in 2023 to enhance patient access and conserve time and resources.
