Amman: The National Aid Fund (NAF) celebrated the graduation of 28 women participants from a specialized training course titled "Textile Inspection and Quality Control." This course was conducted by the Garment Design Center and specifically targeted NAF beneficiaries.
According to Jordan News Agency, the NAF's Director General, Khitam Shneikat, highlighted that the training course is part of the National Social Protection Strategy. The initiative is aimed at empowering family members who benefit from NAF services, equipping them with essential skills to secure employment in the labor market.
The NAF statement revealed that this course is a pioneering initiative in the field, developed in response to the increasing demand for fashion-related skills in the labor market. Workshops and factories in the textile sector have shown a "high" demand for professionals with expertise in this area.
Hassan Nosour, Director of the Garment Design Center, noted that the participants have acquired "advanced" skills through the course. These skills position them to enter the labor market and contribute "effectively" by supplying the garment and textile sector with qualified workers.
