Amman: The National Center for Human Rights (NCHR) and a delegation from the Jordan Diplomatic Club recently engaged in discussions aimed at improving communication channels and fostering collaboration with various stakeholders.
According to Jordan News Agency, NCHR Commissioner-General Jamal Shamayleh outlined the Center's pivotal role and responsibilities in monitoring, protecting, and promoting human rights, all within the framework of its independent legal mandate.
NCHR Protection Commissioner Nahla Momani and Promotion Commissioner Nidal Maqabla provided further details on the Center's wide-ranging activities. These include awareness-raising initiatives, training programs, legislative reviews, and mechanisms for handling complaints.
They emphasized the crucial role of the Centre as a key partner in advancing the human rights framework within Jordan.
