Doha: National football team player Adham Al-Quraishi underwent a successful knee surgery on Monday at the Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital in Doha, Qatar.
According to Jordan News Agency, the defender sustained an ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) injury during Jordan's match against Morocco in the Arab Cup final in Doha on Thursday.
Confirming the successful surgery on Facebook, Al-Quraishi expressed gratitude to the Jordan Football Association for their support and care.
The player will undergo intensive medical and physical rehabilitation before returning to the pitch.
