Amman: Minister of Education, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Azmi Mahafzah, and German Ambassador Bertram von Moltke inaugurated the construction of a new premises for the German embassy in the Abdoun neighborhood of Amman. The event, attended by German and Jordanian officials, marks a significant step in the diplomatic relationship between the two countries.
According to Jordan News Agency, Ambassador Moltke emphasized that the new building symbolizes the strong relationship and friendship between Germany and Jordan. He highlighted that the premises will provide ample space for collaboration while respecting local culture and traditions. The construction is poised to be environmentally sustainable, incorporating natural cooling systems, solar energy, rainwater storage, and wastewater treatment facilities.
Ambassador Moltke expressed gratitude towards Amman Mayor Yousef Shawarbeh and other authorities for their contributions to the project's progress. The new embassy is expected to strengthen the diplomatic ties and facilitate better cooperation between Germany and Jordan.
