Amman: Former Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour inaugurated the new headquarters of the "Jordan Reads" Cultural Association in the city of Salt on Sunday. The opening ceremony was attended by Senators, Balqa Governorate officials, and a gathering of cultural advocates and association volunteers.
According to Jordan News Agency, the event featured the official opening of the association's new public library, designed to serve as an open intellectual space for the local community. The library aims to act as a hub for readers, researchers, and cultural enthusiasts, advancing literacy and knowledge distribution across the Balqa Governorate.
Attendees emphasized that the new headquarters and library represent a significant addition to the local cultural landscape, strengthening civil society initiatives by fostering an environment conducive to knowledge exchange and community development through reading.
