Nineveh Governor: Mosul Airport’s navigational devices will arrive within two days

Nineveh Governor Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil announced the arrival of the navigational devices for Mosul Airport within the next two days. Al-Dakhil said in a statement to the Iraqi National News Agency /NINA/: "The completion rate of the Mosul Airport project has reached more than 50% since the start of work on it with the new local government assuming its duties at the beginning of 2024." The governor added: "The airport's navigational devices have been fully prepared in the countries of origin, and will be transferred to the airport within the next two days." He explained: "The installation of the airport's navigational devices represents 33% of the completion rate, and therefore their installation will lead to an increase in the completion rates to 85%, which will be within the next few days, which will lead to the opening of the airport on time at the end of this year."
