Nurse Injured by Shrapnel at Jordanian Field Hospital in Southern Gaza

Rafah: A nurse serving with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army field hospital in Rafah, southern Gaza, sustained shrapnel wounds on Wednesday when ordnance fragments fell near the facility, a military source said.

According to Jordan News Agency, specialist physicians found lacerations to the nurse's left hand and right thigh and performed immediate surgery. The patient is listed in moderate condition and is scheduled for medical evacuation to Jordan this evening for continued treatment.
