OIC Condemns Israeli Strike on Gaza Hospital, Warns of Healthcare Collapse

Jeddah: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Sunday condemned Israel's strike on the al-Ahli Arab Baptist Hospital in Gaza, calling it a war crime and a flagrant violation of international law and humanitarian law.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Jeddah-based organization warned of the imminent collapse of the healthcare system in the besieged enclave due to the direct targeting of medical facilities, persistent power outages, and critical shortages of medicine and fuel needed to operate generators.

The OIC renewed its call on the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to take immediate action to enforce a ceasefire and ensure the delivery of humanitarian, medical, and relief aid to civilians in the Gaza Strip.
