Oil Derivatives Pricing Committee Sets New Fuel Prices for July

Amman: The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources' Oil Derivatives Pricing Committee convened its monthly meeting on Monday to determine the local fuel prices for July. The committee assessed the global prices of crude oil and petroleum throughout June, noting an increase in the prices of 90-octane and 95-octane gasoline, as well as diesel.

According to Jordan News Agency, the committee applied a pricing equation based on the global prices to all derivatives. The findings indicated a rise in the price of 90-octane gasoline by JD0.015 per liter, 95-octane gasoline by JD0.020, and diesel by JD0.025. Consequently, the committee decided to adjust the selling price of 90-octane gasoline to JD0.860 per liter, up from JD0.845, and 95-octane gasoline to JD1,085, up from JD1,065. The price of diesel was set at JD0.675, an increase from JD0.650.

The committee maintained the selling price of kerosene at JD0.620 per liter and a 12.5 kg domestic gas cylinder at JD7.00.
