Nablus: A Palestinian man was killed and two others were injured during an Israeli military operation in the village of Salem, located east of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
According to Jordan News Agency, Adli Ishtayeh, head of the village council, reported that Israeli forces entered the area and surrounded two homes, with gunfire directed at residents and houses during the operation.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society confirmed that its teams retrieved the body of the Palestinian man from inside one of the besieged homes, though the identity of the victim has not been released. The organization also reported that two other individuals were injured. Among the injured was a 62-year-old man who was taken by ambulance for medical treatment. The second injured person was shot and detained by Israeli forces.
