Amman: The Parkinson's Patient Care Association and the administrative board of the Al Oun for Alzheimer's Patient Care Association convened to discuss strategies for closer cooperation and relationship-building to enhance healthcare and social care for patients.

According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting focused on addressing the primary challenges faced by patients with neurodegenerative diseases and their families. It also explored opportunities for coordination and integration between the two associations to strengthen the contribution of civil society organizations within the healthcare sector.

The participants emphasized the significance of sharing expertise, developing joint awareness programs, and initiating future projects aimed at raising awareness and improving the quality of life for patients. They collectively agreed on the necessity of establishing an effective and sustainable partnership between the associations to bolster the local community's role in supporting those most in need of care and attention.
