Geneva, Bahrain's parliamentary group participated in a panel discussion titled "Parliamentary Leadership in Disarmament: Preventing and Reducing Human Suffering from the Spread of Weapons", as part of the 149th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Geneva, Switzerland. Bahrain's parliamentary group affirmed that parliament members worldwide play a key role in supporting partnerships and cooperation between countries and organisations, and contribute to raising awareness on the importance of disarmament to achieve regional and international stability and security.
