Peak Electricity Load Hits 4,020 MW Monday

Amman: The Kingdom's peak electricity load stood at 4,020 megawatts (MW) on Monday, according to data released by the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO).

According to Jordan News Agency, NEPCO said it continues to step up readiness under established operational plans to meet electricity demand and maintain the stability of the national power system.

The company emphasized that the Kingdom's electricity system maintains high levels of reliability. It stressed the importance of efficient electricity consumption, particularly during peak-demand hours, to support the stability and reliability of the national grid.
