Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani announced the start of implementing the 400 transformer station project within the strategic agreement with Siemens. The Prime Minister said in a speech at the inauguration ceremony of the executive works of the expansion project of Al-Haidariya power station in Najaf: "We are always honored to provide service to the holy city of Najaf." He added: "We are facing inherited problems in the electricity sector and we have worked on several levels, including providing fuel and investing in associated gas." Al-Sudani stressed: "The heroes of the Ministry of Electricity are present despite the difficult circumstances, and we appreciate their efforts and ask them for more.
