Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani announced the start of implementing the 400 transformer station project within the strategic agreement with Siemens. The Prime Minister said in a speech at the inauguration ceremony of the executive works of the expansion project of Al-Haidariya power station in Najaf: "We are always honored to provide service to the holy city of Najaf." He added: "We are facing inherited problems in the electricity sector and we have worked on several levels, including providing fuel and investing in associated gas." Al-Sudani stressed: "The heroes of the Ministry of Electricity are present despite the difficult circumstances, and we appreciate their efforts and ask them for more. We have directed the Minister of Electricity to be present in the holy city of Najaf for a week to follow up on the requirements of the Arbaeen visit." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
