PM Delays Working Hours in Karak, Tafilah, Ma’an Due to Weather Conditions

Karak: Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan decided, in a circular, to delay official working hours on Wednesday until 10:00 a.m. at ministries, official departments, public institutions and authorities in the governorates of Karak, Tafilah and Ma'an, in order to safeguard citizens' safety in light of the prevailing weather conditions.

According to Jordan News Agency, the decision came after reviewing reports received from the relevant authorities regarding the weather situation and indications of the formation of dense fog and expected high wind speeds in those governorates during the morning hours, which could pose a risk to public safety.

The decision also included an instruction to take into account the implications of this measure for employees commuting from those governorates to workplaces outside their areas of residence, while excluding departments whose nature of work requires otherwise.
