Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli has underscored the importance of the development project of St. Catherine airport in South Sinai governorate. The premier's remarks came on Saturday 28/9/2024 during his inspection of a number of development projects in Saint Catherine's city, as part of his follow-up of "The Great Transfiguration" project there that aims at turning the area into a global destination for tourists all over the world. Madbouli was accompanied by a host of ministers and respective officials, including Housing Minister Sherief El Sherbiny. The Premier checked the implementation progress of construction works at the airport, whose construction is part of the development plan of Saint Catherine City, an area that is a sacred site for the world's three major monotheistic religions.
