PM Urges Enhanced Expat Consular Services During Visit to Foreign Ministry

Amman: Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan on Tuesday visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates and met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi. During the meeting, Safadi briefed the Prime Minister on regional developments, and the PM emphasized the importance of the ministry's development programs aimed at improving consular services for Jordanian expatriates and enhancing the economic role of Jordanian diplomatic missions.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Prime Minister also stressed the importance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' continued coordination with economic ministries to increase the effectiveness of the economic role of diplomatic missions, mainly in promoting investment, tourism, and exports. The PM affirmed his support for efforts to automate and develop consular services to deliver them effectively to Jordanian expatriates.
