Amman: Public Security officials have detained two juveniles involved in a knife attack captured on video and circulated across social media platforms, a security spokesperson said Monday.
According to Jordan News Agency, preliminary investigations revealed the incident occurred in the Nuzha district and involved minors with no prior criminal records. Both juveniles have filed cross-complaints, with the first claiming he sustained a hand injury from a sharp object, while the second reported facial wounds from the attack shown in the footage.
Medical examination reports indicate both sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The case will be referred to the Juvenile Prosecutor General upon completion of the investigation. The spokesperson cautioned against publishing unverified content, noting that those who circulate unconfirmed material face potential legal consequences.
