Political Affairs Minister: Modernization, an Ongoing National Endeavor

Amman: Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs Abdul-Moneim Al-Oudat emphasized the continuous national commitment to modernization through political, economic, and administrative reforms aimed at enhancing public participation in decision-making, protecting democracy, and strengthening the state against various challenges.

According to Jordan News Agency, Al-Oudat, during a meeting with the Amman Group for Future Dialogues led by its president Bilal Al-Tal, highlighted Jordan's reputation as a beacon of wisdom and moderation in a conflict-prone region. This reputation is attributed to the country's dedication to security, stability, and enhancement at both national and regional levels.

Al-Oudat underscored the importance of youth involvement in politics, advocating for their empowerment to drive significant changes and increase the influence of political parties in practical engagements. He reiterated that political parties play a crucial role in national efforts and are vital partners in fortifying the internal front amid the region's rapidly changing challenges and complexities, which necessitate collective and cooperative solutions.

Members of the Amman Group for Future Dialogues echoed the sentiment regarding the critical role of political parties in nation-building and fostering democratic practices. They noted that while a large number of parties might not benefit national interests, consolidating these parties could lead to the development of stronger and more effective political entities.
