A force from the 23rd Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces carried out a security operation to search villages in Khanaqin in Diyala Governorate. Brigadier General Bashir Al-Anbaki told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that a joint force from the first and third regiments, the engineering of the command and the 20th Brigade carried out a joint security operation to search the villages of Malik Shah, Imam Abbas, Aliwa, Jamil Bek, Shafiq Agha, Hussein Bek, Mahmoud Aziz, Al-Ikhwa, Ibrahim Al-Ali, and the villages of Joda and Al-Mayah.
