A statement by the Popular Mobilization Authority stated: "A force from the 23rd Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces was able to dismantle three explosive devices in the area adjacent to the Khanaqin-Saadiya road in Diyala Governorate. The operation also included searching the areas adjacent to the road and securing them to prevent terrorist violations."
