Prime Minister Bans Foreign Travel for Ministers and Senior Officials

Amman: Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan issued a statement on Tuesday announcing a ban on foreign travel for ministers, heads of official bodies, institutions, and directors of government departments, except for major and necessary work-related meetings.

According to Jordan News Agency, Hassan emphasised that travel should be limited to one official - either the minister, head of the body, department director, or their representative - without people accompanying them. Additionally, the duration of stay should not exceed two nights for official purposes.

Hassan stressed the importance of adhering to and implementing this decision, which takes effect immediately.
