Amman: Prime Minister Jafar Hassan received a phone call from Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam to discuss the relations between Jordan and Lebanon.
According to Jordan News Agency, Salam expressed Lebanon's full solidarity with Jordan in addressing threats to its security and stability. He emphasized that Lebanon would collaborate with Jordanian authorities in tackling potential risks facing both nations.
In response, Hassan highlighted that the attempted scheme thwarted by the General Intelligence Department (GID) and Jordanian security services underscores Jordan's strength and resilience. He stated that Jordan is committed to continuing to support its brothers in the fight against terrorism and extremism.
