Amman: Prime Minister Jafar Hassan has temporarily departed the Kingdom for a four-day personal leave. A Royal Decree has been issued appointing Minister of Water and Irrigation Raed Abu Saud to assume the duties of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense in an acting capacity during this period.
According to Jordan News Agency, this temporary appointment ensures that governmental functions continue smoothly in the absence of Prime Minister Hassan. Abu Saud, who currently serves as the Minister of Water and Irrigation, will manage the responsibilities typically handled by the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense.
