Amman: His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC), attended on Wednesday the boxing match in which Jordanian boxer Zeyad Eashash won and qualified for the quarterfinals of the boxing competitions at the Olympic Games (Paris 2024). Prince Faisal expressed his pride in the performance of the national boxing team player, Zeyad Eashash, against the Japanese boxer Sewon Okazawa, and his qualification to the quarterfinals in the U71kg competition to become one step away from securing an Olympic medal. Eashash managed to defeat the 2021 world champion and gold medalist at the last Asian Games. In the quarterfinals on Sunday, Eashash will meet the winner of the match between Britain's Lewis Richardson and Serbia's Vahid Abasov.
