Prince Feisal: Jordan Ready to Host Asian Karate Championship

Amman: HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein, president of the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC), on Monday welcomed World Karate Federation (WKF) President Antonio Espin³s, Asian Karate Federation President Maj. Gen. Nasser Alrazooqi, and Arab and West Asian Karate Federations President Ibrahim Al Gannas. Prince Feisal expressed his pride in Jordan hosting the 24th Asian Youth, Junior and Under-21 Karate Championship and affirmed the JOC's dedication to utilizing all resources to ensure the event's success, highlighting Jordan's position in the sports domain.

According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting also focused on the final preparations for the championship, which is set to commence on Tuesday at the Arena Hall in Al Hussein Youth City. Discussions included strategies to enhance collaboration with international, Asian, and Arab federations to further develop karate and widen its practice across regions.

The federation leaders expressed their gratitude to Jordan for hosting the championship and commended the organizational efforts and facilities available. They emphasized the tournament's pivotal role in promoting karate on both a regional and international scale.
