Princess Basma Bint Ali and Agricultural Research Center Discuss Plant Research Cooperation

Amman: Her Royal Highness Princess Basma bint Ali, founder of the Royal Botanic Garden of Jordan, recently engaged in discussions with National Agricultural Research Center Director Ibrahim Al Rawashdeh to explore opportunities for enhanced cooperation in plant research.

According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting focused on strategies to advance plant research initiatives that support sustainable development and agricultural innovation. These efforts aim to foster a deeper understanding of plant biodiversity and ecosystem preservation.

During the meeting, Rawashdeh was given an overview of the garden's design, organizational quality, and the variety of plant species it houses. The Royal Botanic Garden of Jordan plays a critical role in safeguarding native plants and ecosystems, while also promoting research in biodiversity and environmental education.

Rawashdeh praised Princess Basma's leadership in establishing the garden, highlighting its significance as a national agricultural landmark.
