PSD Chief, French Envoy Discuss Enhanced Police and Security Cooperation

Amman: Director of Public Security Directorate (PSD) Major General Obeidallah Maaytah met with France's Ambassador to Jordan Franck Gellet to discuss ways to strengthen police and security cooperation between the two countries and to expand partnership in training, capacity building, and the exchange of expertise.

According to Jordan News Agency, Major General Maaytah emphasized the PSD's commitment to deepening cooperation and coordination with police and security agencies in France. He noted that this collaboration is rooted in the strategic and historical relationships that exist between the two friendly nations across multiple fields.

Ambassador Gellet commended the Public Security Directorate for its advanced level of professionalism and capabilities in police work. He reaffirmed France's dedication to maintaining a close partnership with the PSD, aimed at enhancing security and stability in both nations.
