PSD Continues Winter Vehicle Safety Campaign Across Kingdom

Amman: The Public Security Directorate (PSD) has stepped up its nationwide winter safety drive, aiming to ensure that vehicles across the Kingdom are fully prepared for the colder season. As part of the campaign, officers distributed awareness leaflets to motorists in various governorates and offered on-the-spot advice on essential safety measures that help prevent weather-related accidents.

According to Jordan News Agency, the initiative seeks to curb traffic incidents, protect lives, and maintain a safe road environment during winter. Traffic departments, the Royal Department for Environment Protection, and technical teams from the Maintenance Directorate are all taking part in the effort. Their work includes checking vehicles' technical readiness, verifying that they are fit for winter roads, and ensuring they can safely withstand challenging weather conditions.
