Amman: Public Security Director Major General Obaidullah Maayta met with Chinese Ambassador to the Kingdom, Guo Wei, to discuss the enhancement of cooperation and coordination between the two nations, aiming to improve the quality of security and police services.
According to Jordan News Agency, during the meeting, Major General Maayta emphasized the deep and robust strategic relationship between their countries, particularly in the realm of security. He advocated for strengthening ties to facilitate the exchange of technical and training expertise, thereby benefiting from the practical experiences available on both sides.
Ambassador Guo Wei, on his part, lauded the pioneering efforts of the Public Security Directorate (PSD) in security and humanitarian initiatives. He highlighted the significance of expanding the partnership's scope to include various areas of work and specialization, reflecting a commitment to enhancing collaborative efforts.
