Amman: Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) has been awarded the title of "Most Enjoyable Airport in the Middle East" for the second time, reflecting its ongoing commitment to providing an exceptional travel experience.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Airports Council International (ACI) granted this recognition based on the results of the 2024 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey. The ASQ program is a global initiative that measures and evaluates passengers' airport experiences.
Additionally, QAIA has successfully renewed its Level 3 Customer Experience Accreditation from ACI until February 2026, reaffirming its adherence to global best practices and industry standards.
The airport has implemented an advanced customer experience strategy and introduced innovative initiatives across seven out of eight key program areas, including customer understanding, strategy, measurement, process improvement, governance, airport culture, and service design/innovation.
AIG CEO Nicolas Deviller emphasized that these achievements underscore the company's unwavering commitment to enhancing passenger experiences and creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for travelers.
"Since the opening of the passenger terminal 12 years ago, Queen Alia International Airport has continuously adapted to evolving passenger needs, ensuring it remains a place of comfort and enjoyment where travelers feel at home from the moment they arrive," Deviller said.
QAIA first received the "Most Enjoyable Airport" title based on the 2022 ASQ survey results. The award is given to the top 5% of airports in each region under ACI's primary Departing Passenger Survey program.
This recognition honors airports that excel in providing a pleasant travel experience, encompassing shopping, dining, and entertainment facilities, as well as efficient wait times.
