Amman: His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Regent, chaired a regular meeting of the National Council for Future Technology. The meeting, which took place on Tuesday, was attended by Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, who serves as chairman of the council.
According to Jordan News Agency, His Royal Highness reviewed the progress of several council projects focused on the use of artificial intelligence in education and government services, as well as the application of technology to address traffic congestion. These initiatives are part of the council's ongoing efforts to integrate advanced technology into various sectors.
The meeting also highlighted Jordan's preparations to host the Cybersecurity Advancements, Innovations and Technology conference and exhibition (C8). The event, scheduled for 18-20 November, will be held under the patronage of the Crown Prince at the King Hussein bin Talal Convention Centre at the Dead Sea.
His Royal Highness emphasized the importance of continuing the implementation of the council's initiatives. He urged that these projects be developed further, taking into account feedback from users and service recipients to ensure they meet the needs of the population effectively.
