RHDC Displays Historic Document Marking Jordan Flag Day

Amman: To commemorate Jordan Flag Day on April 16, the Royal Hashemite Documentation Center (RHDC) has highlighted a significant historical document from its archives: issue number 568 of Al-Qibla newspaper, dated March 13, 1922.

According to Jordan News Agency, the document features an official decree regarding the Jordanian flag. It reveals that Prince Abdullah I issued a royal decision to rearrange the flag's colors, with white moved to the center, green replacing white, and black remaining in its original position.

The statement emphasized that the flag's colors and symbolism are inspired by the flag of the Great Arab Revolt.
