River Rescue Police found the body of the man and his daughter who drowned yesterday evening, Wednesday, in a lake in the Zummar district, northwest of Mosul. A source in the river rescue said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that "the river rescue squads found the body of the man and his daughter who drowned in the lake while they were on a family outing in the village of Al-Sumoud, affiliated with the Zummar district, west of Mosul."
