Manama, Assigned by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court, received Ali Ahmed Al Derazi, Chairman of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), who presented the NIHR's 2023 annual report. The minister commended the NIHR's role in advancing human rights in Bahrain, acknowledging its efforts in line with the National Action Charter, the Constitution, and international agreements to which Bahrain is committed. He highlighted the significance of these efforts under the leadership of His Majesty the King. The report outlined the NIHR's initiatives in promoting and safeguarding human rights, as well as its advisory contributions to national authorities, as mandated by the law establishing the institution.
