Amman: A royal decree has been issued appointing Tharwat Mohammad Hamdan Masalha as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Jordan Foundation to Develop Lands Adjacent to the Baptism Site, along with the following members:

According to Jordan News Agency, the appointed members are Hala Numan Khairuddin Bseiso Latouf, Imad Naeem Saleem Al-Qalanzeh Al-Hijazin, Bayan Ahmad Yousef At-Tal, Valentina Issa Mahfouz Qassisieh, Thaer Ahmad Abdelhadi Al-Najdawi, Osama Jabi George Ghanoum, Raja Hanna Tawfiq Gargour, Wahib Ishaq Mikhael Madanat, Sami Bahaa Mamdouh Al-Nabulsi, and Rania Ibrahim Mohammad Sbeih.

This appointment is aimed at steering the development of lands surrounding the historic Baptism Site, a location of significant cultural and religious importance. The board is expected to oversee initiatives that will enhance the site's accessibility and preservation.
