Royal Decree Sanctions New Appointments in PM Hassan’s Cabinet

Amman: A Royal Decree was issued Wednesday, approving a reshuffle of Prime Minister Jafar Hassan's Cabinet.

According to Jordan News Agency, the decree sanctioned the appointment of several new ministers. Nidal Katamine has been appointed as the Minister of Transport, while Badria Al Balbisi takes on the role of Minister of State for Public Sector Development. Abdul Latif Al Najdawi will serve as Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs, and Raed Adwan is the new Minister of Youth.

Ibrahim Al Bdour has been appointed as the Minister of Health, and Saeb Khraisat assumes the position of Minister of Agriculture. Imad Hijazin is the new Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Tareq Abu Ghazaleh has been appointed as the Minister of Investment, and Ayman Suleiman takes on the role of Minister of Environment. The ministers were sworn in before His Majesty King Abdullah II at Al Husseiniya Palace, with the attendance of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, and Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi.

Another Royal Decree was issued, approving the resignation of several ministers, effective 6 August 2025. Lina Annab's resignation as Minister of Tourism and Antiquities was accepted, along with Khaled Hneifat as Minister of Agriculture, Ahmad Oweidi as Minister of State, among others. His Majesty received the resigning ministers and expressed gratitude for their efforts during their tenure.
