Amman: Royal Jordanian (RJ) is set to launch a new nonstop route between Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) in Amman and Washington Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C. The service is scheduled to commence in mid-March 2025, marking a significant step in RJ's efforts to expand its global network and improve connectivity between the Middle East and North America. According to Jordan News Agency, the new route will operate twice weekly, specifically on Tuesdays and Sundays, utilizing RJ's Boeing 787 Dreamliner. This addition to RJ's flight network is aimed at strengthening the connection between the capitals of Jordan and the United States, facilitating travel for government officials, business professionals, tourists, and ethnic communities. RJ President/CEO Samer Majali expressed enthusiasm for the new service, stating, "We are thrilled to introduce this new nonstop service between Amman and Washington, D.C. This route not only enhances our network connectivity but also underscores our dedi cation to fostering stronger ties between Jordan and the United States. The upcoming Washington, D.C. route will complement Royal Jordanian's existing direct flights to Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD), New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), and Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). Together, these routes underscore RJ's pivotal role in connecting the Levant with major cities across North America.
