Moscow:Russian diesel fuel is reportedly reaching European markets under different labels, despite the European Union's ban on imports of Russian petroleum products, as stated by Russia's deputy prime minister.
According to Anadolu Agency – English, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, in an interview with Vesti, highlighted the possibility of European countries acquiring Russian gas through third countries. He noted that despite the EU's prohibition, Russian diesel occasionally appears in Europe under different labels.
Novak further warned of potential challenges Europe may face during the winter, pointing out the "historically" low levels of gas in underground storage facilities. He mentioned that the EU storage facilities currently contain about 82.1 billion cubic meters of gas, marking the lowest level since 2013 and a decrease of 9.4 billion cubic meters compared to the previous year.
