Russian Ministry of Defense: Ukrainian drones shot down over Belgorod District

Baghdad, The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the air defense system shot down Ukrainian drones in the airspace of Belgorod Province. The ministry stated, in a statement, that a Ukrainian attack using drones on facilities inside Russian territory had been thwarted. The statement added that the Russian air defense system on duty shot down Ukrainian drones over the territory of Belgorod District. In turn, the district governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said that Russian air defenses shot down several air targets as they approached Belgorod, killing one person and wounding two others. Gladkov added via the Telegram application: 'Our air defenses responded to a Ukrainian attack over Belgorod, where several air targets were shot down as they approached the city,' noting that the attack, according to initial information, resulted in the death of a civilian and the wounding of two others.
