Riyadh: Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged in significant diplomatic discussions through two separate telephone calls with his counterparts from Qatar and Jordan. According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Prince Faisal received calls from Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, as well as Ayman Safadi, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan. These conversations were centered around recent developments in the regional situation, emphasizing the need for collective efforts and unified stances to prevent escalation. The discussions highlighted the imperative of safeguarding regional security, ensuring freedom of navigation in crucial maritime corridors like the Arabian Gulf and the Red Sea, and mitigating the adverse impacts of ongoing crises.
