Baalbek witnessed cautious calm throughout the day on Thursday, but it was shattered by two airstrikes just after 2:00 am on Friday. The Israeli enemy's first strike hit a two-story building in the plains of Douris, igniting a truck and damaging the structure. The second targeted a building at the Iaat junction, housing a pharmacy, an eastern crafts shop, and two empty apartments. The missile pierced the pharmacy wall, exploding in the basement and sparking a massive fire. Civil Defense firefighters, led by regional director Bilal Raad, battled the blaze for four hours. Meanwhile, fuel shortages and internal displacement continue to plague Baalbek residents. Source: National news agency - Lebanon
