Amman: The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, through the JordanSource programme, recently organised a virtual seminar titled "From the UK to Jordan: Why Tech Leaders Can't Ignore This Vital Middle Eastern Hub."
According to Jordan News Agency, the event was held in collaboration with London Tech Week, with support from the Jordanian Embassy in London and the British Embassy in Amman. The seminar focused on Jordan's rapid digital transformation, its innovation ecosystem, and its increasing global influence in digital entrepreneurship. It also discussed the growing investments by international companies in Jordanian talent.
Participants explored Jordan's capability to lead innovation and expand on an international scale. The seminar attracted a diverse group of professionals, experts, and investors from both Jordan and the United Kingdom. This event marked the first collaboration of its kind between the Ministry and London Tech Week, aiming to solidify Jordan's standing as a proactive digital partner and a regional hub for innovation and digital transformation.
The seminar provided an interactive platform for participants from both countries to foster professional connections and explore new opportunities for cooperation in the technology sector. It highlighted Jordan's competitive advantages, such as a skilled and youthful workforce, low operating costs, and advanced digital infrastructure, alongside continuous government support for the sector's expansion.
