Senate President Faisal Fayez affirmed the “deep-rooted” Jordanian-Saudi relations in various fields, especially in the political, economic and social areas.

Speaking at a meeting with Saudi Ambassador to Jordan, Nayef bin Bandar Al-Sudairi, on Sunday, Fayez said the Kingdom is proud of the “high” level of the bilateral relations, adding that the two countries’ leaders are keen to constantly develop and build on them.

Fayez noted Jordanian-Saudi relations are based on “firm and stable” foundations, mutual respect and joint coordination, aimed to serve the two countries’ common interests.

Lauding Saudi Arabia’s support for Jordan, he noted the Kingdom, based on its “brotherly and strategic” relations with Riyadh, is looking forward to increasing Saudi investments in various fields.

The Saudi envoy, for his part, commended bilateral relations as “deep-rooted, strong and historic” in various fields, adding that the two countries’ leaderships maintain continuous coordination and consultation on all issues aimed to further build on brotherly ties and common interests and serve issues of Arab and Islamic nations.
