Amman: Senate President Faisal Fayez met separately with Ambassadors Talgat Shaldanbay of Kazakhstan and Hungary’s Peter Jakab to discuss bilateral relations and explore ways to enhance cooperation in various fields.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Senate head emphasized the strong ties between Jordan and the two countries, advocating for the expansion of joint investment opportunities and an increase in trade exchanges. The discussions also covered regional issues, with a focus on Israel’s actions against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip.
Fayez underscored Jordan’s positions on these matters, highlighting efforts by His Majesty King Abdullah II to end conflicts, halt Israeli attacks, facilitate humanitarian aid into Gaza, and promote a political resolution based on the two-state solution and international legitimacy resolutions.
The ambassadors praised Jordan’s role in fostering peace, security, and stability, and expressed their commitment to further enhancing cooperation, trade, and investment with Jordan, while also aiming to activate existing agreements.
