Amman: Senate President Faisal Fayez on Wednesday emphasized the importance of enhancing Jordanian-Bulgarian relations across various sectors, including political, economic, investment, and parliamentary areas, to advance the mutual interests of both nations. During a meeting with Bulgarian Ambassador to Jordan Metin Kazak at the Senate, Fayez highlighted the robust nature of their ties, which are based on mutual respect, active cooperation, and aligned positions on key international issues, especially the preference for political solutions to disputes and conflicts.
According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions also covered regional developments, with Fayez stressing the urgency of ending the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank. The conversation further included the potential impact of the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel on international peace and stability.
