Amman: Senate President Faisal Al-Fayez extended heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty King Abdullah II, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Hashemite family, and the Jordanian people, as well as the Arab and Islamic nations, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, which falls on Monday.
According to Jordan News Agency, in a statement issued Saturday, Al-Fayez expressed his hopes that the holiday brings prosperity and blessings to Jordan under its Hashemite leadership and to the broader Arab and Islamic world. He also prayed for continued security, stability, and progress for Jordan while calling for an end to Israel's aggression in the West Bank and Gaza. Al-Fayez reiterated his support for Palestinian freedom, wishing for the restoration of a free and sovereign Palestine.
Additionally, he voiced hopes that the Arab world overcomes its political and security challenges in the near future.
