The executive council of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide has renewed confidence in Senior Advisor to Egypt's Mufti Ibrahim Negm as secretary general of GSFOW. Negm will assume the top post for a renewable five-year term. The executive council made the decision in light of Negm's strenuous efforts over the past years. The annual meeting of the executive council was on the fringe of the ninth International Fatwa Conference in Cairo.
