Amman: Higher Education Council (HEC) approved a unified date to start the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year at Jordan's public universities.

According to Jordan News Agency, the HEC stated that the 1st semester is scheduled to begin on September 28, with the teaching process officially commencing on Sunday, October 5.

Meanwhile, for the Kingdom's private universities, the date set for the start of teaching activities is Sunday, October 5, with official commencement on the 12th of the same month.
